Nominations Open for Deserving Neighbors Beginning on National Roof Over Your Head Day on Dec. 3
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Nov. 18, 2024 – Lighthouse Exteriors, a family-owned home improvement business serving metro Detroit since 2004, is proud to announce the launch of its new charitable initiative, the Light of Hope Program. This community-focused program is dedicated to being a guiding light for families and individuals in need, offering support, resources, and acts of service to uplift local communities.
To mark the launch of Light of Hope, Lighthouse Exteriors is kicking off the program on Dec. 3, 2024 which is National Roof Over Your Head Day with a complete roof installation giveaway to a deserving tri-county neighbor. The company is inviting members of the community to nominate a family or individual in Wayne, Oakland or Macomb Counties who could benefit from a new roof, a vital necessity for comfort, safety, and security.

The nomination process is simple, visit www.lighthouseexteriors.com and complete the nomination form on the Light of Hope page by March 31, 2025. Share the story of a deserving individual or family in the community, self-nomination is welcomed, including why they should be selected for the Roof Giveaway. A panel of Lighthouse Exteriors team members and community partners will review submissions and select the recipient based on need and impact for installation in Spring 2025.
Light of Hope will focus on creating meaningful change through initiatives such as the roof giveaway as well as through charitable partnerships, volunteer projects, and direct acts of service to build stronger, brighter, and more resilient communities.
